2018 has been one mighty year for Forsyth Barr Stadium – and we still have plenty more to come. The positive effect of three huge Ed Sheeran concerts not too mention Roger Waters and Robbie Williams is phenomenal; and we still have P!NK, Shania Twain and Kendrick Lamar on the bill as well!
Alongside all the high profile concerts, the All Blacks make another Le Bleu taming visit in June as well. Add the hosting of the international Tourism event TRENZ to the event menu and Dunedin is not only benefitting economically, but also in profile.
But wait there’s more, we are now about to build the coolest foot traffic bridge in the country as well. We wonder how this will work towards reversing the traditional ‘northward drift’ migration trend of decades gone by? We wouldn’t be surprised if there was a rise in people moving south..!
